This column displays the name of each gene. When possible, the
geneticist's name is shown, such as "unc-47". If such a name has not yet
been assigned, the ORF name is used instead.
Action
Click on this field to select a gene. The Gene Sorter will highlight the gene and
move it to the top of the list.
